A doctor from New York hired Timberline to handle an outstanding IRS tax liability of over $1.3 million. At the time Timberline was hired, an aggressive IRS Revenue Officer was trying to place levies on the taxpayer’s bank accounts and pursue other aggressive Enforced Collection Action. Timberline immediately initiate holds of enforcement and completed a full analysis on the taxpayer’s account. At which point it was determined that he qualified for a Partial-Pay Installment Agreement of $2,250 per month. This was negotiated with the Revenue Officer which allowed him to stay in business and satisfy his debt. This resolution will run through the life of the Collection Statute Expiration Dates which will ultimately save the taxpayer approximately $1.1 million.
