An ambulance service provider located in Woodville, TX hired Timberline to help protect the business from potential levy action and provide a resolution to its federal tax liability. It was determined there was a levy issued against the taxpayer prior to hiring representation. The Enrolled Agent immediately filed a Collection Appeal to fight the levy action. During the hearing with the Appeals Officer the Enrolled Agent stressed the economic hardship and personal, mental hardship the levy had caused to the business and business owner. Every law and example at the Enrolled Agent’s disposal were used to disprove the levy’s effectiveness. Based on these arguments, the levy was fully release providing $15,000 back to the taxpayer.
